We’re kicking off the summer season with our first drink of the week, the Chocolate Martini from Menz Restaurant & Bar in Rio Grande!
If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll love this decadent and delicious cocktail that pairs well with your meal or serves as a boozy dessert. Bartender John Menz recommended this drink because it has been highly requested in the past few weeks. The drink received rave reviews from customers seated at the bar as John broke out the martini glass. Say no more! Chocolate martini it is.
John started by coating the rim of the glass with hot chocolate mix and drizzled the glass with chocolate syrup. He added Svedka Vanilla Vodka, Dark Crème de Cacao, and a splash of half and half to the cocktail shaker to combine the rich ingredients. A few shakes later and it was ready for the taste test!
