After 42 years, the Cape May County Park & Zoo continues to bring adventure and excitement to both residents and visitors of Cape May County! The zoo has over 550 critters that represent more than 250 species of exotic and native animals. In addition, the Cape May County Park & Zoo offers winding trails for hikers, bikers, joggers and wildlife watchers, multiple picnic areas, a huge playground and more.
The zoo is open year-round and your visit is always free, but donations are appreciated.

Cape May Point Lighthouse

The present tower, which is the third documented lighthouse at the southern tip of New Jersey, has been an aid-to-navigation for mariners and attraction for visitors since it was built in 1859. More than 2.5 million visitors have climbed the lighthouse since it opened to the public in 1988.

Cape May’s only Victorian House Museum!
A visit to the Physick Estate today offers a look back at our Victorian past as evidences by its architecture, decorative arts, customs, and the lives of one particular Cape May family, the Physicks. Emlen Physick Jr., his widowed mother, Frances Ralston, and his maiden aunt, Emilie Parmentier, moved into their home when it was completed in 1879.

Morey’s Piers & Beachfront Water Parks is a classic seaside amusement park located on The Wildwoods Boardwalk complete with water parks, rides, dining, shopping and more!

Mariner’s Pier, located at Schellenger Avenue in Wildwood, offers the atmosphere of a traditional amusement park. With the classics like the Super Scooters, Teacups, Musik Express and the Giant Wheel, Mariner’s Landing takes families back to the turn of the century when life was simpler. It’s also the only place to experience Breakfast in the sky – a gourmet, white linen and china breakfast on the Giant Wheel, offering spectacular views of the ocean and all of the Wildwoods.

Surfside Pier, located at 25th Street in North Wildwood, is like stepping into a colorful seaside carnival. It was the first of Morey’s three piers, opening in 1969 with a giant fiberglass slide that only cost 25 cents to ride. Surfside Pier mixes a variety of kiddie rides with family thrills in an environment fueled by neon colors, bright lights and music.

Adventure Pier is the pier that ROCKS, packed with high thrill extreme rides, our world famous wooden coaster and the 3-Point Challenge Basketball Game. Soar through the air over the beach on the SkyCoaster, feel the G force of the SkyScraper or shoot your way to the moon on the SlingShot. A brand new stage will feature School of Rock with live entertainment all summer long.

Naval Air Station Wildwood (NASW) Aviation Museum

Naval Air Station Wildwood (NASW) Aviation Museum is a non-profit museum located at the Cape May Airport inside historic Hangar #1. Commissioned in April 1943, NASW served as an active dive-bomber squadron training facility during World War II. Today, Hangar #1 has been restored and transformed into an Aviation Museum that houses a number of aircraft, engines, special exhibits, and educational interactive displays. The museum invites visitors to explore aviation and military history through “hands-on,” fun and educational activities for the entire family! Bring the kids and travel back in time to this 92,000 square foot sampling of the 1940’s. Friendly leashed pets are welcome.
