Attractions in The Wildwoods

There are so many things to do in The Wildwoods! Here are just a few ideas to get you started:

Walk the Boardwalk

Shop, dine and relax at the Washington Street Mall in the heart of Cape May. Experience unique shopping and over 10 restaurants, all within three blocks. Most of the mall is comprised of small, independent shops, many of which are multi generational, family-owned. Leave you car in the driveway or parking lot and walk or ride your bike.

Visit the Lighthouse

The Hereford Inlet Lighthouse was built in 1874 and is the most important historic structure on Five Mile Beach. The Lighthouse is open to the public and continues to function as an active navigational aid maintained by the United States Coast Guard. Visitors to the Lighthouse will learn about the history of the building and the local area. The Lighthouse grounds are a great place to relax and take in the ocean air, and a stroll the gardens will allow visitors to enjoy the beauty of the seashore right up to the seawall at Hereford Inlet.
