The 24th annual Strawberry Festival returns to Wilbraham Park! This much-anticipated event celebrates everyone’s favorite berry as an early sign of summertime fun and yum!
What to expect? Our new and returning local artisans offer their unique pottery, handmade jewelry, artwork, t-shirts, hats, accessories, woodwork, photography, soaps, and candles, birdhouses and feeders, garden art, seashore and whimsical arts and crafts, as well as antiques, collectibles, women’s and children’s clothing, pet treats, local honey, baked goods, nuts, sauces, produce, jams, pies, plants, and terrariums. And of course, STRAWBERRIES!
Come eat your favorite festival food! Vendors will be offering breakfast sandwiches, pulled pork and chicken, brisket, mac & cheese, hotdogs, sausages, bacon sandwiches, empanadas, and strawberry peanut butter. Save room for desserts: cookies, Italian water ice, shaved ice with ice cream, lemonade, and wine tasting. All with strawberry delights!
Students from Cape Regional Technical School will be selling their delicious strawberry shortcake as a fundraiser for their prom. Meet some of our local farmers and business owners. There will be music all day: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. will feature Bill the Steel Drum Guy. “Joe Ryan Parker Lengle” will perform in the afternoon.
What else? Free street parking! Plenty of bike racks so pedal on over! Handicapped accessible. Well-behaved pets on leashes are welcome! This event is sponsored by the West Cape May Business Committee of the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cape May.
