A fun-filled weekend of 1800s games and frivolity will take place at the first Village Field Day, Aug. 18-19! There will be Sack Races, Tug of War and much more, plus games and crafts for young and old alike!
The Village’s historic buildings will be open during regular museum hours, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with historically clothed interpreters teaching guests about the crafts, trades and lifestyles of Early America. This event is sponsored by Priester Foundation.
The Village is located on Route 9, three miles north of Victorian Cape May and a mile and a half west of the southern terminus of the Garden State Parkway. Admission during the season is $14 for adults and $12 for children ages 3 to 12. Children under 3 are admitted free. Unlimited free admission is available with Village membership.
