The First Presbyterian Church of Cape May will be hosting an art exhibit and auction on Monday, Aug. 6 and Tuesday, Aug. 7 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. All levels of artwork will be on display in the newly renovated lounge area. Numerous artists are participating in this fundraising event for the church.
Selected pieces of art will be used in an ongoing silent auction which will run through the two days. There will be oils, water colors, photography, paper collage work and craft arts.
Proceeds will go to the artists and the church, which is facing repairs and the updating of systems required under fire and construction codes.
