Congress Hall’s Clambakes on the Lawn

The best backyard summer parties are when the backyard is on the beach. Visit Congress Hall’s Lawn this summer for a good old-fashioned clambake every Tuesday through Aug. 28, with seatings available between 6 and 8 p.m.

Share in this family-style feast at picnic tables with buckets full of steamed shrimp, mussels and middle neck clams. Enjoy delicious fresh sides of Jersey corn, cucumber tomato salad and plenty of drawn butter.

The SunDogs provide the perfect summer soundtrack while families can enjoy cornhole on the Lawn and a picture perfect summer night in Cape May.

The menu includes a 12-inch bucket ($50), an 8-inch bucket ($40) or a children’s meal ($10). The assortment of fresh seafoods includes shrimp, mussels, clams and crab legs (included in the 12-inch bucket) alongside Jersey corn, sausage, coleslaw and cucumber tomato salad. Add-on items include a 1.5-pound lobster (market price) and a 10-ounce strip steak ($30). The kids’ menu includes chicken fingers, mac & cheese and a bag of chips.
