Events at Cape May Lighthouse Cancelled Aug. 7 for National Lighthouse Day

CAPE MAY – A severe weather forecast has forced cancellation of events celebrating National Lighthouse Day scheduled for today, Monday, Aug. 7 at the Cape May Lighthouse from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Cape May Lighthouse will remain open for climbing as usual today from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. unless and until severe weather is imminent. Admission to climb the lighthouse is $8 for adults and $5 for children (ages 3-12).

The Cape May Lighthouse is located in Cape May Point State Park, Lower Township.
