The first Create in the Crest Arts Festival, an event designed to showcase various types of art, will be held Saturday, June 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Centennial Park in Wildwood Crest.
Hosted by the Wildwood Crest Creative Arts Council, the Create in the Crest Arts Festival will feature local artists, entrepreneurs, musicians and other creators displaying, selling and teaching their art.
Admission to the Create in the Crest Arts Festival is free.
Attendees will have the opportunity to not only experience various types of art but also learn how to create art from some of the artists themselves via short free classes and workshops.
The Create in the Crest Arts Festival’s vendors include handmade arts and crafts, handmade jewelry, pottery, hand-painted floral designs, sea glass art, silk screening, wooden enamel art and more. Free classes will be available in a variety of art forms. Registration for art classes will take place on the day of the event.
The event will also feature live original music by Camille Peruto (10:30 a.m.) and Meabh Stanford (12 noon).
