POPS looks forward to three shows in Philadelphia over July 4 weekend
Philadelphia, PA (June 29, 2016) — Boardwalk Entertainment, the presenter of POPS in Wildwood on July 2, has canceled the show.
The POPS performed in Wildwood last year on July 4 at the Wildwood Bandshell at Fox Park for a crowd of approximately 7,000-8,000.
The concert would have featured the 65-piece POPS orchestra, the Voices of the POPS ensemble and two guest vocalists in a patriotic program.
While the POPS is disappointed about this development, the organization looks forward to its three performances in Philadelphia over July 4 weekend: July 3’s POPS on Independence at 8 p.m., the Celebration of Freedom ceremony and Independence Day parade at 10 a.m. on July 4, and POPS on the Parkway at 8:30 p.m. on July 4.
