Cape May Welcomes Visitors this Spring

Celebrate the budding of spring with exciting tours and activities during Cape May’s 23rd Annual Spring Celebration

The nation’s first seaside resort bursts forth during Cape May’s 23rd Annual Spring Celebration, presented by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC), now through Sunday, May 20, 2018.

In 2018, Spring Celebration is extended to more than three weeks, with additional tours, activities and events that celebrate the budding of spring in new ways. Be inspired on this year’s not-to-be-missed Designer Show House — “Our Fan-ta-sea”— a much-anticipated, multi-million dollar transformation of the historic beachfront 1911 John P. Forsythe house. Rediscover the 1879 Physick Estate on tour or indulge your taste buds during events for chocolate enthusiasts: the Chocolate Lovers Feast and the Chocolate Tasting Tour. Explore Cape May’s hidden secrets on the popular Underground Railroad Trolley Tour, co-sponsored by Center for Community Arts (CCA) and MAC. Celebrate the outdoors and “Sip Into Spring” at the Physick Estate’s newest outdoor festival on May 12 and enjoy mimosas, local beers and more. Choose from a variety of food and wine events including Murder Mystery Dinners and themed brunches. There are abundant ways to enjoy the city’s charming Victorian gingerbread architecture, outstanding restaurants, lovely green gardens, tree-lined streets and Victorian-era landmarks daily, making Cape May the ideal destination for enjoying spring’s arrival.
