I, Anthony Thomas DiSimone, was inspired to write this book by stories of my ancestors in Corleone, Italy for over 400 years, and my observations of events and meeting a variety of people over a lifetime. I began writing a “story.” The basic family “Bloodline” traces events from the 1860s in Italy to the streets of New York City and ultimate power through the 1970s. Murder, mayhem, adult content and political power, some fictional and some very real, compels the reader to imagine living in those times. It’s exciting because much is based on real life.
