Cape May Stage, Cape May’s premier Equity theatre company, brings you a hauntingly hilarious good time with Noel Coward’s “Blithe Spirit.” Filled with the eccentric characters and witty dialogue known as Coward’s trademark, this clever comedy, running through Sept. 19 at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse, will have you dying for more. When novelist Charles Condomine hosts a séance as research for his next novel, he gets a little more than he bargained for. Initially skeptical and dismissive, Charles soon learns the error of his ways as the eccentric medium he hires turns out to be far more than the ‘quack’ she seems. Now he is stuck in history’s strangest love triangle as his dead wife’s ghost does her best to drive away his current wife.
