Start thinking of those creative costumes for the 6th annual Stone Harbor Shiver on Saturday, March 12, 2016. Hosted by the Stone Harbor Chamber of Commerce, the weekend kicks off with a pre-plunge party at the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor on Friday night and continues all day Saturday with Kegs and Eggs, a parade, the plunge and the after-plunge party! It’s a weekend full of great fun, friends and food and of course, that chilly dip into the Atlantic Ocean. Get ready for a fun-filled weekend! This year’s beneficiary will be CASA – Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. at Fred’s Tavern, 314 96th St., Stone Harbor. Parade begins at 11:45 a.m. and leads to the plunge at 96th St. and the beach.
