Wildwoods Polar Plunge Returns Jan. 13, Supports the Special Olympics

What: The annual Wildwoods dunk into the frigid Atlantic Ocean 

When: Saturday, Jan. 13 at 1 p.m. 

Where: Wildwood beach by the convention center 

Wildwoods Convention Center & beach. The Polar Bear Plunge in Wildwood is a unique opportunity for individuals, organizations, and businesses to support Special Olympics New Jersey athletes by jumping into the frigid Atlantic waters on January 13. 

 Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. and the plunge takes place at 1:00 p.m. on the Wildwood beach by the Wildwoods Convention Center. This is a fundraiser event for New Jersey Special Olympics; tens of thousands of dollars are raised for the organization this year. 

Special Olympics New Jersey provides year-round sports training, competition, leadership opportunities, and health screenings to thousands of athletes. All of these programs and services are always completely free thanks to fundraising events like the Polar Bear Plunge at Wildwood
