Thursdays are Tasty with the Anglesea Night Markets

The popular Anglesea Night Market series will kick off its second year this year on June 29 with four dates and will include nearly 20 food trucks for each date. This year’s series will take place June 29, July 13, July 27 and Aug. 10. The Anglesea Night Market takes place down Olde New Jersey Ave. in the Entertainment District of North Wildwood.

The Night Market series will be extended from 4 to 10 p.m. this year due to the popularity from last year. This adds an additional hour to the end of the event.

Some other new exciting details include a free jitney service running in North Wildwood for the June 29 date. It will be running from along Surf Avenue from 5th to 26th avenues. It will then turn up 26th Avenue to New Jersey Ave. and head down New Jersey Avenue to the festival area in the Entertainment District.

“We are providing a free trial run of the jitney service to help people in North Wildwood get to the event,” said event promoter Denis Brown. “We think this will be awesome way to make parking easier and safer for people to travel.”

People visiting the event will be able to buy drinks from the surrounding bars and bring them into the event area in plastic cups only.

The food truck list for the June 29 date includes: Five Sisters, Shore Shake, Dump-N-Roll, Cupcake Carnival, Philly Fry, Good Mood Food, Cheezen, Nick’s Roast Beef, Cow and the Curd, Beast of the Street, Cannoli World, Little Sicilian, Brilliant Beverages, Taste Trolley, Chimney Cake Factory, My Four Suns and Mad Dog Morgan’s.

There will also be live music, crafters and games. The event is dog friendly as well.
