Skimmer Weekend is Sea Isle’s largest summer festival, featuring two-days of family-friendly activities and plenty of free entertainment. An exhibition of various conflicts spanning several centuries including English Hundred Years War, Boer War, American Revolution and Civil War, World War II, Korean War and more!

Explore the Shore
Saturday, June 20th at 11 a.m.
Where: Nature Center of Cape May, 1600 Delaware Avenue, Cape May
Discover the secrets of Cape May Harbor as we explore the shore and marsh. Join our naturalists as we hike the beach, pull a seine net (weather permitting), and encounter an incredible diversity of marine life. We’ll learn about the fascinating lives of the animals that inhabit our coastal and wetland habitats; including the fascinating and ancient Horseshoe Crab. Have an up-close experience with horseshoe crabs, sea stars, and other local marine critters in our laboratory and learn why these animals are so important. Walk-ins welcome. No preregistration necessary.

Hereford Inlet Maritime Festival
Saturday, June 20th and 21st at 9 a.m.
Where: Hereford Inlet Lighthouse, 111 N. Central Avenue, North Wildwood
The event will take place on the grounds of the historic Hereford Inlet Lighthouse and along Central Avenue fronting the lighthouse in North Wildwood. The outdoor festival is a celebration of New Jersey’s rich maritime history. Historians and authors will join dozens of artists and crafters for a weekend long feast for the eyes and mind! Also featuring great food and music as well as activities for the kids. Pirates will wander the grounds and tours of the historic 19th century lighthouse and award-winning gardens will be offered too. Festival admission is FREE. Lighthouse tours are $5 for adults, $1 for children.

Life Rolls On – They Will Surf Again
Sunday, June 21st at 8 a.m.
Where: Rambler Road and Beach, Wildwood Crest
An adaptive surfing program that pairs volunteers with those living with paralysis and spinal cord injury. No surfing experience required, just the will to help out those with SCI. Guaranteed to change your outlook and life. Please come out and support Life Rolls On.

Morey’s Piers Father’s Day Celebration
Sunday, June 21st at 11 a.m.
Where: Mariner’s Landing, 3501 Boardwalk, Wildwood
