RIO GRANDE – “It’s all about the Benny’s,” states Elizabeth Franco, one of Rio Station’s new management team members. “Well, actually, frittatas, crunchy French toast and housemaid breakfast sausage make this new Rio menu not your average breakfast, it’s a little more egg-stravagant!”
This menu, a “mix tape” of all their favorites, started when Paris-trained Executive Chef and General Manager Richard W. Rutherford III started his family with Elizabeth, a local Jersey girl, and began the tradition of making breakfast with their son at home.
The frittata, a house specialty, is loaded with fillers and served in a cast-iron skillet, while the benedicts not only feature South Jersey’s best crab cakes, but also have real house-made hollandaise made every morning.
They’re also putting a twist on traditional hash by serving it up with their famous prime rib and spicing things up with their new libations like the “Wake Me Up” Bloody Mary and “The Sunrise” Mimosa.
Join Rio Station for breakfast on Monday, May 23 as they launch their new menu. Breakfast will be served every day from 7:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Let them pour you your first cup of coffee for the day!
