SEA ISLE CITY – Sea Isle City’s Division of Recreation will host the resort’s 2013 Halloween Parade on Oct. 18, at 7:00 p.m. along Landis Avenue (45th Street to JFK Boulevard). The parade will feature live music, strolling entertainers, floats, and a variety of other participants – including local civic groups, businesses, scout troops, municipal officials, volunteer organizations and first responders.
Recreation officials are currently accepting applications for parade entrants in the following categories: Walkers, Families, Clubs/Organizations, Floats and a non-judging division. Parade applications can be obtained at the Sea Isle City Welcome Center (300 JFK Boulevard), at City Hall (4501 Park Road) or online at www.seaislecitynj.us (via the “Forms” link on the website’s home page).
Parade entrants will be judged by an independent panel. Trophies and $25 cash gift certificates (courtesy of Crest Savings Bank) will be presented to the evening’s top participants in each category.
Sea Isle’s 2013 Halloween Family Dance Party will take place at the Excursion Park Band Shell immediately after the parade. The free Dance Party will be led by D.J. Jeff, who will keep “spirits” high and delight families with seasonal music and popular dance favorites.
