SAX Transforms into SAX Prix

This summer, indulge in sumptuous upscale dining at Sax Prix, a nine-week pop-up Prix Fixe experience at The Reeds at Shelter Haven

For nine weeks only, Executive Chef Tim Hamill will transform SAX restaurant at The Reeds at Shelter Haven into SAX Prix, an upscale dining pop-up serving a lavish prix fixe menu. SAX Prix includes a glamorous dining room redesign, with new accents and table scapes as a luxurious backdrop for their new menu. Reservations, often hard to come by at the shore during the summer months, are strongly recommended and available now.

Like the summer season, SAX Prix is a limited-time-only affair, lasting just nine weeks:
• Reservations are available nightly from Monday, June 29 through Saturday, August 29
• Service will begin at 5 p.m. each evening
• The decadent prix fixe menu is $79 per person, plus tax and gratuity
• Two optional wine pairings are also available, showcasing SAX Prix’s extensive wine collection
• The menu will be influenced by a wealth of world cuisines, from classical French to new American:
• Guests can expect a selection of dishes in each course, plus a few delightfully unexpected surprises throughout the meal
• Dishes will change throughout the nine-week run, and may include premium ingredients such as:
o Dungeness Crab with English pea and citrus puree, Ikura caviar, citrus
o Lobster Caesar little gem lettuce | poached maine lobster tarragon caesar | shaved locatelli | baguette crumble

SAX Prix’s restaurant has undergo a gracious transformation befitting the new menu:
o A new bar will be installed, with dramatic ceiling-high backlighting that will lend a warm glow to the entire dining room
o Antiqued, mirrored tables and custom chairs will furnish the dining room, in natural tones and soothing shades of blue that reflect the restaurant’s coastal setting
o Each place setting will include fine new bone china, gold-plated chargers and custom crystal glassware atop premium white linen runners
o Wide windows will extend along the entire length of the restaurant, opening the dining room up to the beautiful Stone Harbor landscape below

• Chef Hamill will draw on his extensive experience in some of the top kitchens in Philadelphia and New York to bring a world-class menu to Stone Harbor:
o He has led the kitchens at Stephen Starr’s renowned Atlantic City and Philadelphia properties, and at The One Group’s STK restaurants in New York City
o When he joined The Reeds, he brought in a talented new kitchen team and oversaw critical renovations to the kitchen, installing state-of-the-art equipment to better prepare the top-notch produce, meat and seafood that he orders fresh daily
