Ocean Galleries is delighted to host this fun and unique exhibition featuring artwork by Tom Everhart.

Classically trained as an artist at the Yale University of Art and Architecture, Tom Everhart graduated in 1976 and continued post-graduate studies at the Musée de l’Orangerie in Paris. In 1980, Everhart was first introduced to legendary cartoonist Charles Schulz during a proposed commercial project, where an odyssey of two artists would begin.

Schulz and Everhart went on to enjoy a 20-year personal friendship and an artistic relationship greatly valued by both. In that time, Everhart would become the only fine artist to be educated by Schulz in his work and also entrusted to create Peanuts© artwork under his direction.

Over time, a mutual respect between the two artists developed, so powerful that Schulz encouraged Everhart to carry forward his comic strip creations to the fine art form – and to extraordinary results. Everhart’s Peanuts© related work has shown in museums around the world, including an exhibit at the Louvre in Paris.

The exhibition is FREE and open to the public with all artwork available for acquisition. For more information, call (609) 368-7777 or visit www.oceangalleries.com.
