Join Holmes and Watson in Cape May during Sherlock Holmes Weekends Oct. 26-28 and Nov. 2-4

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s master sleuth, Sherlock Holmes, with his loyal friend Dr. John Watson, return to follow the clues in a baffling new mystery for 2018, “Sherlock Holmes and The Case of a Siren’s Call,” written by playwright John K Alvarez. Cape May’s Sherlock Holmes Weekends are held at the historic Inn of Cape May, and presented by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC). Sherlock fans can join the sleuthing on either of two weekends, Oct. 26-28 or Nov. 2-4.

A gathering of successful writers descends upon the city of London to compete for the literary “Siren Call” award. The evening event has a list of distinguished nominees, ranging from the Gothic writer Selene Gundren, to the ever-popular Dr. John Watson. When a murder occurs and his close associates are in peril, Holmes sails in to face the threat. But will he be enough?

Stalk the gas-lit streets in search of clues and compete for the $250 grand prize and a variety of other valuable gifts as you attempt to solve the mystery. Full weekend packages are available at $200 per couple or $105 per person and include the welcome reception, performances, tour, luncheon and gift. The Search for Clues tour from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, or on Saturday, Nov. 3, can be purchased as a separate admission of $15. Affordable overnight packages with accommodations are also available. For more information, call (609) 884-5404 or (800) 275-4278 ext. 115, or visit
