Drink of the Week: Red Storm

Looking for something different than the typical tropical cocktail you often find here at the Jersey Shore? Head to the Ice House Restaurant & Bar and sample this week’s drink of the week, Red Storm.

Red Storm is made with Mount Gay Black Barrel Rum, lemon juice, simple syrup made from fresh raspberries and ginger beer. This unique combination creates a taste like no other, full of sweet, raspberry flavor, a hint of rum and a ginger taste that has a bite. The cocktail is slightly carbonated, giving it a classy bubble and a refreshing feel.

Get your own Red Storm at Ice House Restaurant & Bar. Hop on the elevator and head to the upstairs deck, where you can relax and sip your drink while overlooking Otten’s Harbor. Daily Happy Hour on the deck is until 6 p.m. Also on the deck, Ice House offers different food and drink specials throughout the week. Monday features $2 tacos, $10 Dos Equis buckets, $3 tequila shots and $5 margaritas, Tuesday features $2 Buck Chuck from 6 to 10 p.m., and Wednesday features half price select appetizers. In the downstairs dining room, the daily Early Bird special is until 6 p.m. and includes three courses for $20. On Wednesday evenings, get an 8 oz. lobster tail entrée for just $25!
