This week’s drink of the week is not for the faint of heart. It’s renowned for its fast-acting, relaxing power and is meant to be enjoyed by a pair of daring friends. Titled “The Irish Trash Can”, it is named for its potent mix of just about any and every spirit you can imagine. Throw them all together and what do you get? The Irish Trash Can! The original creation of one of our former bartenders of the week, Domo of Country Club Tavern, this electric blue cocktail contains vodka, gin, rum, triple sec, Peach Schnapps, and Blue Curaçao.
After skillfully blending these initial ingredients, Domo adds two straws to the concoction and serves up a cold can of Red Bull. From there, the drinkers are instructed to pour the Red Bull over the mix and prepare for quite a kick.
