Drink of the Week: Bluecumber Mint

This week’s winning cocktail is the latest original creation from the Intercoastal Waterway’s newest family eatery, Tavern on the Bay. A sweet twist on the classic mojito, the “Bluecumber Mint” is a refreshing, light, and very drinkable choice for a warm summer’s night. Made with fresh muddled blueberries, muddled cucumber, simple syrup, fresh mint, gin, and a splash of lemonade and Sprite, the Bluecumber Mint is a Tavern on the Bay must-try. Following in close second is another highly popular signature, the Watermelon Fire Margarita. This margarita is mixed with those who appreciate a distinct “kick” in mind and can be modified with extra habanero sauce for the daring.

Sample these and several other Tavern on the Bay signatures at daily Happy Hour Sunday through Wednesday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. The Bluecumber Mint is actually best enjoyed with a sea breeze atop the Tavern’s rooftop deck in the relaxing Sunset Lounge.
