Drink of the Week 8/30 – 9/5

In my utter denial that summer’s warm weather and sunny days were soon coming to a close, I set my sights on an island getaway. No, I did not escape to the Caribbean. Rather, I decided to hit North Wildwood’s very own tropical paradise. Flip Flopz Beach Bar & Grill proudly features its scenic Tiki Topz Poolside. In order to fully enjoy its ocean breeze and scenic views, I felt that I first needed a cool cocktail in hand. I headed over to the Tiki Topz bar where I was immediately greeted by bartender Matt. In his quest to impress, Matt decided that the Frozen Mango Mai Tai would definitely dazzle.

Made with a perfect blend of amaretto, Malibu Rum, a splash of Captain Morgan and, of course, mango mix, this is one Mai Tai you do not want to miss. Fellow Tiki Topz patron Jamie Minix and I both agreed that it deserved a high 9 out of 10. The mango and coconut rum flavors perfectly complement one another in this frozen fusion. For an alternative frozen specialty, sample the frozen Pink Lemonade, made with Cruzan Coconut Rum and fresh lemonade. Grab a cold one, lay back, and enjoy the sea breeze… Nowhere else but Tiki Topz.
