Dish of the Week: Clam’s Casino

This week’s delectable dish comes from Tuckahoe Inn of Beesley’s Point. Owner/Chef Tyson has been working in a kitchen since 1965. He continued his education at various culinary schools such as Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and other schools in the United States. Tyson took the best recipes from all over and brought them to Tuckahoe Inn when he purchased it in 1996.

The world famous Clams Casino is what was on the menu when we stopped in. This dish features New Jersey clams, which is a necessity since the restaurant is right on the water. The clams are chopped and mixed with different herbs and spices, butter, garlic, peppers and bacon! It is then broiled to pure perfection. A Cape May Brewing Company IPA pairs nicely with this scrumptious dish.
