Concerned Citizens of Whitesboro, Inc. Sponsors Rainbow Summer Camp, Formerly Known as Camp Unity

WHITESBORO – Open Registration for CCWI’s Rainbow Summer Camp has begun!

Rainbow Summer Camp is a nine week summer program designed to promote a safe and creative learning environment for campers entering kindergarten (age 5) through seventh grade (age 13). The goal of Rainbow Summer Camp is to provide an experience that will allow campers to share new ideas and make lifelong friends. Children are registered in group names that make up the predominant colors of the rainbow – i.e. red, yellow, blue and green – and are based upon the grade campers will enter in the 2016-2017 school year. Rainbow Summer Camp is licensed and certified by the NJ Department of Health and Senior Services.

Concerned Citizens of Whitesboro, Inc., in its eighth year of providing one of the best summer camp experiences in Cape May County, celebrates summer and youth with an agenda of dynamic activities and trips. Rainbow Summer Camp begins Monday, June 27 and ends Aug. 26. The summer program will be held Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Community Center located at 207 W. Main St., Whitesboro, NJ. Rainbow Summer Camp is limited to 80 campers and registration is taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. So, don’t delay in registering your child! No registration can be taken at an age level once a group is filled to capacity.

Parents must provide the following information and a payment for two weeks per child at time of registration: current report card, a list of known allergies, physician’s name and phone number, proof of medical insurance, immunization record and child’s T-shirt size.

The weekly camp fee is $85 or $100 per child and is based on income. Fees for the first two weeks are due at registration for each child and are due prior to Monday of each week. You may also pay in advance. Please inquire about rates for more than one child attending camp.

Rainbow Summer Camp is also accepting applications for Junior and Senior Camp Counselors. Junior Counselors must be at least 16 years old and Senior Counselors must be 18 and older. Rainbow Summer Camp is also accepting applications for students looking to do a summer internship or individuals interested in volunteering.
