The Cape May Film Society, in collaboration with Animal Outreach, will be presenting a renowned film called “KEDI,” which is about the free-roaming street cats that have been residents of Istanbul for thousands of years, and the contribution they make to the lives and spirits of the people who live among them. “KEDI” gives audiences a glimpse into the culture of Istanbul through the relationship of its people with these unique felines, who walk the thin line between the world of the wild and the world of the tame cat.
The film will be shown on Sunday, Jan. 21 at 3 p.m. at the West Cape May Borough Hall. Admission is $5 and refreshments will be available. A portion of the $5 admission will be given to support Animal Outreach’s activities.
