Bartender of the Week: Kelly’s Cafe

This week’s honored mixologist is a twenty five year veteran of the bar tending scene, but his current gig is full of “fun” that really makes it stand out from the crowd. Frank has been a Kelly’s Café bartender for three years now and loves the fact that Kelly’s differs from the typical “nightlife scene”. According to him, Kelly’s offers the best of both worlds, featuring the greatest local live performers in a comfortable pub atmosphere. Kelly’s is also home to some great patrons. When asked what his favorite part of the job might be, Frank quickly and confidently states, “The people.” Though Frank himself is more of “Bud Light guy”, he’s up to the challenge of meeting a vast range of drink requests. If asked for a Frank signature, “I’d ask them what color they’d want it to be,” he explains.

Frank spent every weekend and summer in the Wildwoods throughout his childhood and is now a full-time local resident. When he’s off the Kelly’s clock, Frank likes to unwind with some home cooking and barbecue. He particularly loves to prepare his own signature BBQ ribs, which he often gets compliments on and are as he says “really good”. His favorite menu item when he does happen to be on the clock is definitely the Kelly’s Roast Beef sandwich. Frank highly recommends it. What some patrons might not know about this mixologist is that he also brings some serious business savvy to Kelly’s, as he graduated from college with a Bachelor’s in business management. Come say hello to the very friendly Frank on his night shift only at Kelly’s Café, a Wildwood landmark for over 75 years! Be sure to ask about Kelly’s full bar menu for a few delicious dishes to compliment Frank’s masterful;=l drinks.
