Activation ReACTORS Theatrical Group Announces It’s First “Social Good Theatrical Experience” Fundraiser

Activation ReACTORS theatrical group and the Cast of The Secret Garden would like to invite guests to the highly anticipated performance of their musical adaptation of “The Secret Garden!”

To take part in this exciting Spring Star Evening Social on May 20 and 21, guests will sit together for a meal of fine dining and enjoy a complimentary viewing of “Secret Garden: The Musical,” in partnership with the Wildwood Golf & Country Club. The curtain will rise at 7:30 p.m. All proceeds will go to the “prefill the trailer” response fund that delivers needed supplies to areas in need affected by environmental disaster.

The musical is comprised of an 11-person cast of accomplished talent coming from different areas of the Jersey State for this production. The cast ranges in age, reinforcing the premise that anyone can promote social good whether it is a 9-year-old (the youngest cast member) or the 99-year-old woman supporting the cause by being in the audience and enjoying the show. The cast is busy working on this beautiful version of “The Secret Garden” and is excited that production dates are set for May 20 and 21, 2016’s spring season when gardens in Cape May County are beginning to bloom.

Secret Garden Director, Elizabeth Gray, is thrilled. She says, “This is an amazing story about the beauty of loving beyond what you originally thought to be possible and taking notice of the life around you after loss. Secret Garden ‘The Musical’ will be performed at a magical venue that makes you actually believe the audience is part of the story!”

Activation ReACTORS are excited for an evening of networking and honoring their star activators from the previous year of 2015. Without these volunteers, the efforts of Activation ReACTORS would be limited and they would not be able to respond to environmental distress situations nationwide.

In 2015, Activation ReACT responded to two storms on the East Coast and provided financial relief to three on the West Coast. They will be looking forward to honoring those that helped them lend a helping hand to communities near and far.

General admission ticket prices can be purchased for a donation of $10 online at www.ActivationReACT.org/SGMusical. Seating is limited, so don’t delay!

“At the start of our Centennial year, the Wildwood Golf & Country Club has had the honor to host many reputable organizations. One of those groups we are very proud work alongside is Activation ReACT for their rendition of “The Secret Garden.” Elizabeth and her company are working hard to produce a production that is as admirable as the platform they stand for. We are excited to witness their magic on opening night!” Amanda Basse, Event Manager for the Wildwood Golf & Country Club, recently said.
