SEA ISLE CITY – On July 16, the Sea Isle City Chamber of Commerce and Revitalization will welcome Santa Claus to Excursion Park, JFK Boulevard and Pleasure Avenue, for a casual meet-and-greet with vacationing children. Because Sea Isle City is a popular family destination – and because he works very hard throughout the year – Santa has agreed to come to the resort so he can spend some relaxing time with his fans during his summer vacation.
Santa will visit Excursion Park between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m., at which time the Jolly Old Elf will speak individually with children and ask them about their Christmas wish-lists. He will also distribute seasonal gifts to the youngsters and pose for photos (parents are reminded to bring their cameras). Afterwards, everyone is invited to watch A Christmas Story 2 (rated PG), which will be the evening’s “Movie Under the Stars” (one of Sea Isle’s many free weekly family events).
