The Middle Township High School Alumni Association will display more than 100 years of memorabilia at the Cape May County Museum during the month of February. The project was announced by Alumni President, Leatrice Westcott. Lea is also a volunteer at the museum and former High School front office Secretary for 35 years. During that time, she accumulated a vast archive of items which now have a venue for all to view.

“I am so excited to offer these treasures that have been in my shed for years for all to see,” Westcott said. Lea and the staff of the museum have put in some 60 hours to construct this display of items dating from 1884 to present. The display is free to visitors during the hours of 10:00am to 2:00pm, Wednesday’s and Friday’s in February and may be extended. For questions on dates and time, contact the CMC Museum at 609-465-3535. Address is 504 Rt. 9 North, Cape May Court House.

The association is a 501 (c)3 Non-Profit corporation that was formed in 1991 for the purpose of awarding scholarships to deserving students. “We are proud of the achievements of our recipients and proud to have assisted them in their venture”, Westcott expressed. Contributions for this cause are tax deductible. She also added that involvement in the Association is open to any and all Alumni of MTHS. “We are always looking for new, and younger graduates to get involved and lead this organization into the future,” For information, email info@mthsalumni.org
