The Wildwood polar plunge, benefitting charity, is this Saturday and runs at the same time as Wild Con, a sort of mini comic con in the Wildwoods Convention Center. Behind the Wildwoods Convention Center
Join thousands of plungers as they wade into the frigid Atlantic Ocean to raise money for Special Olympics New Jersey. Most plungers are part of teams who compete to raise the money money, but individuals can still plunge. Same-day registration begins at 10 a.m. Tailgating takes place in the parking lot before the plunge.

Volunteers are invited to join others nationwide to honor Dr. King’s contributions. In Ocean City, citizens are asked to participate in a citywide cleanup from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Sign-up and supply distribution will take place at the Howard S. Stainton Senior Center.
