The Ocean City Historical Museum invites the community to its annual Children’s Tea on 11:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10. This year’s theme is “Teddy and the Bears.” The event is perfect for children ages 5 to 10. They can learn about a proper Victorian Tea, do arts and crafts and, most of all, enjoy an afternoon tea.
Theodore Roosevelt, his daughter Annie and a whole bunch of teddy bears will join the fun this year. Children are invited to bring a special bear to have a wonderful afternoon.
Space is limited and tickets are on sale now. Members of the Ocean City Historical Museum are able to purchase tickets at $8 per person. Others can purchase their tickets for $10 per person. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Call (609) 399-1801 or stop by the museum, located within the Ocean City Community Center, at 1735 Simpson Ave. The museum is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Saturday.
