Where: Court House Library

This is a 6-week course that takes place on Mondays, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the Court House Library. By the end of this hands-on class, led by local photographer Kathy Libby, you will know how to operate your digital camera, how to take photos, and have a firm grasp of important photography terminology! Bring your DSLR or mirrorless camera (make sure it’s charged and you have a memory card), and bring the user manual.

Kathy Libby, who took the photo above, has maintained an interest in photography since high school, and got her first SLR film camera as a college graduation gift. She started studying and fell in love with photography. When digital cameras came about, it took a while for her to jump on the craze. Now, she loves them. She has been shooting digital photography since 2014. Living at the shore, she spends a lot of time taking landscapes at the beach.
