Yet with its 620-square-mile span, the Jersey Shore county can be quite daunting. With all the ground to cover, where should you even begin? Don’t worry, we’re here to help. Island Hopping is your go-to guide for the season with our favorite places to “do the shore.” This week we’re hopping all around the county to plan your day from dusk till dawn.

After your morning out on the water, head over to H&H Seafood in Cape May for lunch. Whether you’re looking for Blue Claw crabs, lobster, Cape May scallops, shrimp, clams, oysters or other local fish, you’ll find it all in this fresh seafood market. The dockside dining menu changes daily depending on the catch, so stop by to check out the catch of the day!

Go with a more classic Jersey Shore treat for lunch at Seven Mile Pies in Stone Harbor. But Seven Mile Pies doesn’t serve just your average slice. Unique specialty pies are available, such as Mango Habanero Chicken or Mac & Cheese, and other creations often make special appearances. Cheesesteaks, hoagies, sandwiches, wings, fries and more are also available to pair with your hot slice! If you wish to relax at home for the afternoon, take out or delivery is available.

After lunch, stop by Algie’s Place Bikes in Wildwood Crest and get that bike you’ve been wanting! Whether you’re a once-a-year boardwalk rider, an everyday enthusiast or somewhere in between, you’ll find great products, people and service at Algie’s. Choose from beach cruisers and comfort bikes, and get all of the bike accessories and cycle wear you need!
