Drink of the Week: Orange Creamsicle

OC

Summer may be coming to an end, but summer drinks are still in full-swing! This week’s drink of the week is a unique twist on a summertime classic, the Orange Creamsicle from On the Rocks Dockside Grill at the Cape May Ferry Terminal!

At the On the Rocks Dockside Grill, there is one goal – “come out and crush it!” Crushes are a fan-favorite drink, but at On The Docks, they take the classic summertime drink and add a unique twist. We went outside to the bar, which has incredible views of the Delaware Bay and the expansive lawn that was soon to be filled with hundreds of concert goers, to try out the Orange Creamsicle – an orange crush with whipped cream vodka. Bartender Sue mixed together fresh-squeezed orange juice, Pinnacle Whipped Cream vodka, triple sec, and Sprite. She added an orange glass to the rim of the glass and a dollop of whipped cream to the top and we were ready to drink!

On the Rocks Dockside Grill at The Cape May Ferry Terminal is the place to go for the best views of the Delaware Bay, amazing food, and refreshing drinks! Enjoy the last lawn concert of the season on Wednesday, August 28, featuring Stellar Mojo playing high energy rock from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Admittance to the concert is free, but make sure to bring your beach chairs, blankets, and picnic snacks. Food and drink will be available to purchase; carry-in alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Don’t miss the fun (and the amazing Orange Creamsicles) at On the Rocks!
