Dance Xplosion National Dance Competition Finals return to the Wildwoods Convention Center July 8-13. Dancers from all over the country will compete for cash and prizes during the six-day event set to feature solos, duets, trios, small groups, large groups, lines and productions, performed by dancers of various skill levels ranging from amateur to experienced. All performances are choreographed to music and are sure to amaze. Competitions will be held 7 a.m.-11 p.m. daily and admission is FREE. Come play in the sand at the 7th annual Wildwood Crest Sand Sculpting Festival on Friday, July 12 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Fun activities featured at this year’s festival include horseshoes, cornhole and other games, as well as live music throughout the day. Sculptures will be judged on creativity, execution, composition and overall presentation. Prizes and awards will be presented to the top three winners in each division. The popular parking lot game returns to the Wildwoods beach for the 10th Annual Wildwood Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14. Saturday’s tournament will begin at 11 a.m. Registration is $25 per team and all ages are welcome. Sunday’s tournament will begin with a mandatory meeting at 10 a.m. Registration for Sunday is $45 per team ($50 day-of), and all players must be 18 years of age or older to participate.
