Hundreds of products and services for Cape May County businesses will be held inside the Wildwoods Convention Center. The Expo is open to the business public, featuring over 100 exhibitors – come shop for all your business needs and make important contacts. The largest business networking event in Cape May County allows you to meet with potential suppliers and network with potential customers.

National Bookmobile Day

On Wednesday, April 10, the Cape May County Library will celebrate National Bookmobile Day, recognizing the contributions of the dedicated bookmobile staff that provide library services to their communities.The Cape May County Library is celebrating National Bookmobile Day by taking our bookmobile to five branches from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., where patrons are invited to step aboard the truck and check out materials, from children’s books, adult books, DVDs, and audio books. The bookmobile will make stops to the following locations on Wednesday, April 10th :

•     Upper Township Branch: 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

•     Sea Isle City Branch: 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.

•     Woodbine Branch: 2:15 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.

•     Lower Township Branch: 4:15 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.

•     Wildwood Crest Branch: 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Beth Judah Wildwood’s Pasta Primavera Fundraiser with Chef Mia

Chef Mia Chiarella of Mia Mia Raw Bar and Ristorante in Wildwood is serving as guest chef for Beth Judah Temple’s spring fundraiser on Thursday, April 11, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Temple’s Social Hall, Spencer and Pacific Avenues in Wildwood.

Chef Mia will work from the Temple’s kitchen and prepare a dinner of pasta primavera, salad and dessert for take-out.  Limited seating is available for dining in.

Tickets are $18, and the event is open to the public.  Reserve your dinner by sending a check to: Beth Judah Temple, PO Box 1183, Wildwood, NJ  08260.  Please include the number of take-out vs. dine-in dinners with your check.  The deadline for reservations is April 3.  Dinners may be picked up between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. on April 11.

Proceeds from the event help offset the costs of day-to-day operations and maintenance for the historic Wildwood temple, which was completed in 1929.

Mystery Dinner Fundraiser

The Ocean City Education Foundation will host a Mystery Dinner Fundraiser Friday, April 12 from 7-10 p.m. at Josie Kelly’s, Shore Road, Somers Point. The Greater Ocean City Theatre Company will perform the wedding-themed show entitled, “Something Old, Something New, Something Stolen, Something Blue.” Wedding attire optional. Clean Ocean Action Spring Beach Clean Up

Bring gloves and a friend. Come anytime between 9-noon and stay as long as you want. Help our community, marine life, and beaches by picking up trash and making them ready for those sunny summer days! All ages welcome. When you arrive you will be given black bags for trash and white for recyclables, as well as data cards to track what kind of trash you pick up.

On Saturday, April 13 “Lucky Bones Lunch & Learn – Victorian Fathers of Science Fiction and Horror,” with Melissa Palmer, will feature an in-depth look at how Victorian ideals brought about two of the most influential genres in modern literature, and how writers like Wells, Verne, Poe and Dickens used science and the supernatural to make bold social commentary on the world around them. Downtown Wildwood Wine & Chocolate Lovers Weekend
