2. Autism Speaks Wildwood Boardwalk 5k Run

Join Autism Speaks as we run to change the future for all those who struggle with Autism! Online registration is $25 and day-of registration is $30. Registration opens at 7 a.m. and race starts at 8:30 a.m. The awards ceremony immediately follows the race. 3. Seafarers’ Weekend
Saturday, August 27 through Sunday, August 28 at 10 a.m.
Historic Cold Spring Village, 720 Route 9, Cape May
Historic Cold Spring Village invites you to celebrate the maritime culture and history of the Jersey Cape at Seafarers’ Weekend. The event will feature pirates, music and family fun. Valhalla’s Pirates will join the event, bringing thrilling fight scenes. Captain Black and his crew will also meet with guests throughout the day to take pictures and tell tales of the sea. The Sea Dogs will perform sea chanties at the Village Gazebo. Be on the lookout for gold coins hidden throughout the Village that can be redeemed for a free treat in the Country Store! 4. 17th Annual Sixers Beach Bash
Saturday, August 27 at 3 p.m.

The Philadelphia 76ers will join fans at the Jersey Shore for their 17th Annual Sixers Beach Bash from 3 to 6 p.m., rain or shine. The first overall pick in the NBA Draft Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid will be in attendance to sign autographs for fans. All day passes to the Sixers Beach Bash, priced at $20, may be purchased at entry. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Sixers Youth Foundation, a 501c3 public charity committed to coaching and mentoring underserved youth to be the next generation of leaders and innovators. Enjoy special performances, interactive games, inflatables, a dunk tank, face painters, food trucks and more.

5. Concert Under the Stars – Ladies of “Country”

North Wildwood’s 2016 Concerts Under the Stars series at the Lou Booth Amphitheater on most Thursdays and Saturdays through Labor Day Weekend. The series concludes on Saturday, September 3 with the traditional Beatlemania show.
