2018 Beach Tag Pre-Season Prices for Cape May County

Spring is here, which means summer isn’t too far behind (yay!). Take advantage of pre-season discounted prices and get your 2018 beach tags now! You’ll be one step closer to sandy toes, salty hair and sun-kissed skin.

Avalon

Avalon’s 2018 beach tags are on sale for the pre-season price of $23 now through May 31. Beach tags are available at the Avalon Tax Collector’s Office inside Avalon Borough Hall, 32nd & Dune Drive, or by mail. Mail orders via cash or check will be accepted until May 11.

Seasonal beach tags are also available via smartphone through the Viply app at www.viplypass.com/avalon-beach-tags. Simply download the app, purchase the desired number of tags, and pick up the tags from any tag checker or at the Avalon Beach Tag Booth, 3oth Street & Avalon Avenue. The booth will be open on weekends from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting April 1, then daily starting May 1. There will be a small service fee, and all sales are final.

Beach tags are required for those ages 12 and older between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Avalon tags are also honored at Stone Harbor beaches.

Cape May

Cape May’s 2018 beach tags are no longer available at pre-season prices.

Cape May Point

Cape May Point’s 2018 beach tags will be on sale for the pre-season price of $28 May 1 through May 31. Beach tags will be available at the Beach Director’s Office inside the Cape May Point Municipal Building, 215 Lighthouse Rd., open 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. daily (closed Memorial Day).

Seasonal beach tags will also be available through mail starting April 15. Make checks payable to “Borough of CMP,” allowing for $28 per tag. Checks must be received prior to June 1. Tags will be held at the Borough Building.

Beach tags are required for those ages 12 and older between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. from June 16 through Labor Day.

Ocean City

Ocean City’s 2018 beach tags are on sale for the pre-season price of $20 now through May 31. Beach tags are available at the following locations: City Hall, 9th and Asbury, open Monday through Friday 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Rt. 52 Welcome Center, open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Henry Knight Building, 12th and Haven, open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed holidays); 46th Street Welcome Center, 46th and West, open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily except Wednesday; Music Pier, Moorlyn Terrace & Boardwalk, open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends; and the Aquatic & Fitness Center, 17th & Simpson, open Monday through Friday 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (closed holidays).

Seasonal beach tags are also available online at www.ocnj.us/beachtags, or by mail. Print the mail order form at www.ocnj.us/beachtags, make checks payable to City of Ocean City and mail to City of Ocean City/Beach Tag Office, 861 Asbury Ave., Ocean City, NJ 08226. Please note there is a 10 tag limit per order. A handling fee of $5 applies. Mail orders must be received no later than May 31, and it is suggested to order by May 16 to receive tags by the start of the season.

Beach tags are required for those ages 12 and older from June 2 through Sept. 3.

Sea Isle City

Sea Isle City’s 2018 beach tags are on sale for the pre-season price of $20 now through May 15. Beach tags are available at the Beach Tag Office inside the Welcome Center, 300 JFK Blvd., open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and daily 9 a.m. to 4 pm. beginning April 15; and the City Hall Tax Office, 233 JFK Blvd., 2nd Floor, open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed holidays). Tags are available 24/7 at the Beach Tag Vending Machine located in the lobby of City Hall (cash only).

Seasonal beach tags are also available via smartphone through the Viply app at www.viplypass.com/sea-isle-city. A nominal fee will be applied, and you must have your cell phone or device with the Viply app to pick up your tags.

Order tags by mail by printing the mail order form at new.sea-isle-city.nj.us/beach-tags.aspx. Make checks payable to S.I.C. Beach Fees and mail to Beach Tag Director, 233 JFK Blvd., 2nd Floor, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243. Tags ordered by mail will be available for pick up at the Beach Tag Office beginning April 15.

Stone Harbor

Stone Harbor’s 2018 beach tags are on sale for the pre-season price of $23 now through May 31. Beach tags are available at Borough Hall, 9508 Second Ave., open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the Stone Harbor Chamber Welcome Center, 212 96th St., open Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. throughout April. Cash or check accepted.

Beach tags are required for those ages 12 and older between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. from May 25 through Sept. 3. Stone Harbor tags are also honored at Avalon beaches.
