Tacos and Tequila is a name that leaves no question about what you’ll get, but that’s not all… This is a popular open-air spot in North Wildwood located on Olde New Jersey Avenue in the heart of Anglesea. The festive atmosphere makes a great get-together destination for food, fun and drink, serving both Mexican dishes and pizza.
Enjoy a Margarita, with over 20 different Tequilas available! Sip on a classic or frozen margarita and enjoy the salt rim! If you’re looking for a larger drink, try a margarita or rum runner bucket! Happy Hour is Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Buckets are only $10 during Happy Hour.
The service is great and so is the food. Treat your palate to one of the many Mexican selections on the menu. A must try is the Chicken Quesadilla. Add rice and beans and make it a platter. For the hungrier appetite, enjoy the fresh flavors of Jose’s Loco Grande! A delicious combination of chorizo, queso fundido, pinto beans, pico de gallo, romaine, guacamole, sour cream and queso fresca!
Joe Joe’s place, located next door, is famous for their large 18” pie or you can enjoy pizza by the slice. One of the top sellers is the Gourmet Pie named after one of the owners, Colleen, made with plum tomatoes, spinach, and ricotta. Buffalo Chicken, Margarita, and The Cheese Fry pies are also requested favorites. Their wonderful pizza, tacos, fries, mozzarella sticks and chicken fingers are all served late night.
Enjoy live music on Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, catch Rhett Tierney on guitar singing everyone’s favorite tunes from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
