Wildwoods Loves Waddler’s Contest July 27th

The Wildwood Civic Club is pleased to announce the Wildwoods Loves Waddler’s Contest at the Wildwoods Convention Center Grassy Circle, Tuesday, July 27th.

The Waddle takes place on a large colorful parachute. The first youngster to waddle or crawl to the waiting parent at the edge of the parachute is declared the winner. Waddle winners will receive a special Grand Prize.

Registration begins at 9:30a thru 10:30a and the Waddle begins at 10:30a. There are two categories:  The Crawl is open to all infants 15 months and younger. The Waddle is open to all infants 24 months and younger. The contest is free and the first 40 entries receive a special gift.

A celebratory luncheon will be held at Adam’s on the Boardwalk following the Waddle where Queen Oceania and her Court will be introduced. Admission: $20 per person.

Wildwoods 111th Baby Parade July 28th

The Wildwood Civic Club is pleased to announce the 111th Baby Parade at the Wildwoods Convention Center – 4501 Boardwalk, Wildwood, NJ 08260, Wednesday, July 28th.   Registration starts at 4:15p and ends promptly at 5:15p.  

Judging takes place at the Convention Hall Center front circle between 5:00p to 5:45p.   The entry categories are as follows:

Baby Face … Cutest Baby Boy and Cutest Baby Girl under 12 months

Individual Best Dressed

Best Themed Group – fun, silly … you get the idea

Small Float – decorated wagon or stroller

Large Float – be creative

Parade line-up commences at 5:45 and steps off at the Wildwood Convention Center at 6:00p.   The Parade proceeds north for 10 blocks to Cedar Avenue on the Boardwalk.  Introductions, awards and prizes will be announced at Boardwalk and Cedar Avenue at the end of the Parade route.  Rain date is Thursday, July 29th, if necessary.
