United Way’s Rubber Ducky Regatta

United Way has, for more than 20 years, hosted the most colorful and celebrated community event in Cape May County. It’s the Rubber Ducky Regatta, and during this summertime affair, thousands of rubber race ducks take to the water for a race around Morey’s Piers Beachfront Waterpark to support the Impact Fund in Cape May County.

Date: August 16, 2015
Location: Morey’s Piers Mariner’s Landing in Wildwood, NJ

It is the county’s largest and longest-running community focused special event, which draws both support and spectators from throughout region. Its success is due in large part to a number of area businesses who sponsor the event, including longtime partner and host, Morey’s Piers & Beachfront Waterparks and title sponsor South Jersey Industries.

Additionally, a host of prizes are donated by local vendors to accompany the winning ducks. Top prizes for 2015 include a Wildwood vacation courtesy of Senior Excursions Inc., a $500 ShopRite gift card, season passes to Morey’s Piers, a flat screen television and more! A complete prize list, as well as a selection of souvenir ducks for the 2015 event will be available in locations throughout Cape May County in early June.
