If you haven’t yet visited Byrne Plaza, you don’t know what you’re missing! Byrne Plaza is the beautiful, newly developed open space at 3400 Pacific Ave. in the heart of the Wildwoods. The Wildwood Business Improvement District manages the site and has a full schedule of events taking place every week!
On Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., over 40 vendors come to the Downtown Wildwood Farmers Market to sell their farm goods, baked goods, prepared meals to go, wine, local honey, clothing and other specialty items like nuts, dried fruits, dog treats, essential oils, fishing gear, guacamole, empanadas, air plants, candles, smoothies, lemonade and so much more!
On Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., Fitness in The Plaza Boot Camp is instructed by Dion of Atilis Gym. For only $5 per class, you can get an excellent workout at your own pace. Check out the Boot Camp videos at Wildwood by The Sea on Facebook!
On Tuesday evenings, Free Family Movies in the Plaza begin as soon as it gets dark, usually around 8:15 p.m. Come early for dinner in Downtown or picnic in the plaza on your blanket or beach chairs! The July 17 movie is Paddington 2. The complete schedule can be found at www.DOOWW.com.
On Wednesday, July 18, The Chatterband will be playing on the stage from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Come early or stay late to experience everything there is to DOO in Downtown Wildwood!
Thursday Night Music in The Plaza will return next week, on July 26, with Stellar Mojo. Come early for the Downtown Wildwood Shopping Marketplace that starts at 5 p.m.! Music in the Plaza brings big bands to the stage on Thursdays from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Grab your friends, beach chairs or blankets and enjoy great music under the starry skies of Downtown Wildwood!
