Sea Isle City will celebrate its rich Irish heritage on Saturday, March 11 with the resort’s 2017 Saint Patrick’s Day Parade along Landis Avenue, 83rd to 63rd Street, starting at 3:30 p.m. The annual Celtic procession will include live pipe-and-drum music, Irish residents, municipal and county officials, Sea Isle’s 2017 “Irish Royal Family” and many other participants wearing their finest green attire.
Prior to the start of the parade, Mayor Desiderio will host a “Best Dressed” competition at 2 p.m. on March 11 inside Kix McNutley’s on 63rd Street. The contest is open to all residents and visitors. Prizes will be awarded to the contest’s winners in two categories: “Best Dressed Irish Individual” and “Best Dressed Irish Group.” Each contestant in the competition will be invited to walk in this year’s Saint Patrick’s Day Parade.
Following the parade, Mayor Desiderio and his family will host their annual “Irish Celebration” at Kix McNutley’s on 63rd Street. So, don’t miss any of the fun on March 11 – when everyone is Irish in Sea Isle City!
