Rio Introduces New Menu

RIO GRANDE – As a result of guest requests, Rio Station is pleased to introduce a new menu. After months of planning and consideration, Chef Richard Rutherford III decided it was time to make revisions to the long-running menu. Many of the familiar items remain the same including the world-famous crab cakes, prime rib and chicken parmigiana. Two new steaks have been added including an 8 oz. skirt steak marinated, chargrilled and finished with house chimichurri, and a 14 oz. charbroiled T-bone steak. Another exciting new addition is the Thai Veggie Stir Fry featuring seasonal Ellie’s Garden veggies, Thai basil, coconut red curry and crushed peanuts served over rice. Rio Station prepares everything from scratch and cooked to order.

“We try to listen to what our guests are asking for,” said a spokesperson for the restaurant. “Guests told us that they wanted variety while maintaining the quality that they have come to expect. Preparing everything to order takes a little longer, but our guests feel it’s worth the wait. Changes in the menu are designed to help make every meal flow as smoothly as possible.”

The look and size of the menu has been changed as well to make it easier to read and make selections, while still offering a wide variety of choices.

Rio Station is located just outside of the Grande Center Mall at Rt. 9 & 47, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night seven days a week starting at 7:30 a.m.
