Friday, Aug. 10

Welcome the weekend with Friday Happy Hour tunes from Doug Kelley at North Shore Bar & Kitchen in North Wildwood. Doug started playing guitar when he was 12 years old and forced to stay indoors while recovering from the shingles. Now, you can catch his acoustic classic rock and Parrothead sounds in the Wildwoods, Southeast Pennsylvania or Sun Tan Valley, Ariz. North Shore’s Off The Beach Happy Hour is from 3 to 5 p.m., but Doug will be on stage until 7 p.m.

Also performing on Friday is Wesley Ochs, live at Boathouse Restaurant in Wildwood from 4 to 6 p.m. Wesley is a prominent vocalist and guitarist from the South Jersey shore, playing acoustic guitar and vocals or getting people up and dancing with electric guitar and sequenced background music. Wesley plays something for everyone, including classic rock, ballads, alternative and modern rock, island/reggae, oldies, country and of course, party favorites!

Saturday, Aug. 11

What better place to experience Irish rock music than Anglesea Pub in North Wildwood? On Saturday at 9 p.m., the Sean Fleming Band brings Ireland to the Wildwoods. Sean began playing traditional Irish music in Irish dance halls, then his ambition as a singer eventually took him on tour throughout the U.S. and Canada. He’s backed by Steve Holley, Justin Jordan and Bruce Gordon, creating a band that will have you doing the jig!

Prefer a more laid back Saturday night? Head to Menz Restaurant & Bar in Rio Grande where you can sit back, relax and take in the mellow tunes of Jim Doran from 6:30 to 9 p.m. A local favorite, Jim pairs his great vocals with fun acoustic melodies for a stress-free night out with family and friends.
