The nightlife at the Jersey Shore heats up when the sun begins to set and the hottest local bands, DJs and musicians take the stage at your favorite shore-town bars, restaurants and clubs. Whether you’re tapping your toes to live music or joining in on games like Quizzo and Name That Tune, the fun will last all night long. Check out who’s on the scene this week in Cape May County!

Friday, August 30
Kick off the weekend Friday afternoon with live music at Boathouse Restaurant & Marina Deck in Wildwood. Watch Wesley Ochs perform everything from rock and pop to party favorites from 4-8 p.m. Wesley has entertained thousands of people all around the world, so don’t miss out on the opportunity to have fun dancing and singing along this Friday night!

Relax in “Cape May’s Living Room” – The Brown Room at Congress Hall – on Friday night and listen to Beth Tinnon perform from 8 p.m. to midnight. Sit back on one of the leather chairs while Beth enchants audiences with her unique blend of “class and sass.” The newly renovated cocktail lounge provides guests with a relaxed, sophisticated atmosphere and serves prohibition-era cocktails, specialty cocktails, beer, and wine.

Saturday, August 31
On Saturday afternoon, enjoy music from Sir Rod Stewart & The Guitar Show with Tommy Edwards from 3-7 p.m at North Shore Bar & Kitchen. The celebrity entertainer is a fabulous musician and vocalist who will bring the music of Rod Stewart to the Jersey Shore. While you’re there, make sure to try the North Shore Summer Wheat beer – one of our drinks of the week and an incredible beer that supports an amazing cause!

After Sir Rod is done jamming out, head over to Toll Man Joe’s Bayside to see the Fuzzy Bunny Slippers rock out from 7-11 p.m. The rock band is known for their unique covers and originals and is sure to bring everyone in the audience at Toll Man Joe’s to their feet!

Sunday, September 1
Spend your Sunday night at Shamrock Beef & Ale to test your trivia skills with Quizzo with Swampoodle from 6-8 p.m. If you’re in the mood for live music, walk outside to the Castaways Bar for pop-rock music with Tyler Kingsley from 6-9 p.m.!

Monday, September 2
Continue the long weekend with live music at the Crab House at Two Mile Landing all afternoon. Start the day out on the Crab Deck to watch Matt Adams perform from 1-5 p.m., then head out onto the Sunset Deck from 3-7 p.m. for the musical stylings of the Glenn Roberts Trio. While you’re there, enjoy Happy Hour Two Mile style at the Crab House bar from 2 to 5 p.m.

Tuesday, September 3
On Tuesday night, DJ Mikey D is taking over Owen’s Pub at 9 p.m. so you can play Name That Tune with your family and friends! Stop by earlier in the night to have great drinks and food to fuel up before you test your knowledge of songs. Plus, enjoy Owen’s Tuesday special – the Chicken Parm Special for $4.95 and 39 cent wings!

Wednesday, September 4
Bingo! Have some fun at the Surf Dog Bar & Grill with Tommy T-Bone and Bar Bingo starting at 7 p.m. Play alone or bring your friends. Just know, winners will receive gift certificates to Surf Dog! Plus, Wednesdays at Surf Dog call for half off wings and great meal deals: a brick oven and cheese pizza and a pitcher of beer or soda for just $13.95!

Thursday, September 5
On Thursday night, join Animal House Band at On The Rocks at the Cape May Ferry Terminal from 5-8 p.m. for live music and orange crushes. The band consists of veteran musicians who have played up and down the East Coast, gracing audiences with their dance party tunes. No era or genre is left untouched by this experienced group of players. The band covers various party dance songs from the ‘50s through today’s music, specializing in classic party rock, reggae, calypso, dance, funk, hip hop and alternative music.
